My computer has quite literally blown up. I mean it really did actually go "bang" and then the screen went black.

I think I can fix it, but if anyone would like to give me a brand new Athlon 3.2Ghz with 1Gb RAM, a 200gb hard drive and a 25mb graphics card I'd happily accept it.
