I miss the internet
Sunday 23 July 2006 at 9:41 pmI miss the internet so much. I currently have no house and all my worldy goods are stored away in boxes so my life is somewhat hectic at the moment. I also really miss blogging, and feel less than fully human for not doing so. All my precious books are packed away too, so I don't even have anything to read.
On the plus side, I do have a job, albeit a temporary one. It basically means that I get to work on the 17th floor of the tallest office building in Manchester, which affords me limitless staring out of the window opportunities, and every now and then I do a little bit of work too. When I get regular net access I want to finish off posting on scripture and inspiration and then offer some thoughts on D A Campbell's book The Quest For Paul's Gospel, which is one of the bets books I've read one Paul for a long time. It offers an interesting way ahead in Pauline studies as it is neither staunchly pro-NPP but neither does it simply restate the traditional Reformed view of Paul's Gospel, which in any case Campbell says, has had its day. In essence Campell suggests that being "in Christ" is infinitely more central to Paul's theology than justification by faith is. I'll hopefully post on it sometime soon. I've also been pondering about hell a lot (perhaps it's the hot weather?) so maybe there'll be a few posts on that too.
