Lots of changes are taking place. The main one is that I'm getting married in a little over a week, which probably means that my days of sitting on the toilet with the door open facing my PC so that I can watch DVDs while answering nature's call are over.

 I'm also still expecting Chuck Norris or Rambo or Optimus Prime or someone like that to knock on my door and sit me down and explain how to be a grown up in time for August 4th, but I guess they're pretty busy.

As far as this blog goes, I've decided to relaunch it and get back into the habit of blogging. I've changed the name of the blog from Theology and Biblical Studies to Steven Harris purely because I'm finding it a bit difficult to write a lot about theology, although I have lots to say on other subjects so I thought a change of title was appropriate to reflect the new content. I've not backslidden or become a form critic or anything nasty like that, but in the 12 months or so since I finished my studies I've found it too difficult to try and keep up the level of theological and biblical literacy I'd gotten used to in the last 4 or 5 years and the opinions just don't flow as easily. That said, I still hope that most of what I blog on will be related to theology, though hopefully there'll be some politics, history (history being my other big interest) and general silliness in there too.

 I'm working on a new blog template so the site might be a bit wonky, but all should be smooth by the end of next week. Stay tuned.
